Survey
Sez
According to Del
Webb Corporation’s nationwide survey more than 60 percent of
the 800 Baby Boomers interviewed believe that they will
not have enough money to retire at age 55 and 20 percent plan to work
at least 20 hours a week after they “retire.” Fast approaching
their late forties and early fifties, today’s boomers will encounter
a number of lifestyle changes as they age, for example:
- Retirement... more than 40 million people in the US will
be retired for 2 decades or longer
- Empty nesters... boomer seniors are expected to have
ample free time for recreational activities and travel
- Care givers... adult boomers will be assisting their
elderly parents with long term care decisions and
in many cases providing care to the older generation
- Back to work... boomers will have the option of
making later in life career changes
...so if your thinking of a career change call us for
a confidential meeting. I hope you enjoy our weekly SENIOR HOUSE
