When trying to understand why things are the way they are we can sometimes think too much and come up with answers that will drive us crazy. Speaking to a group of retired seniors in a New Jersey Active Adult community they shared the idea that it would be great if we could retire between the ages of 30 to 60 and then return to the workforce. In this fashion we could be home with our kids and our energy and then go back to work from 60 to 90. Could this be the ultimate answer ? Well probably not but it sounded good at the time.
